Tour of Oman by NCC Leaders in May 2023 – A Report by National Vice President – Rev. Brighty Beulah

The following report was presented by the National Vice President to the National Executive Committee Meeting held over Zoom on 5th June 2023 from 5 pm to 6 pm

Praise the Lord Everyone,

It’s a joy to meet you all here in this NEC Zoom Meeting. I praise God for this opportunity for me to present the Oman tour of NCC Leaders that took place in May 2023. I am very delighted to see several leaders from Oman joining in this zoom meeting, like Pastor Vijay Kumar from Muscat, Mrs Prasanna Kumari from Muscat, Bro. Jayaraj from Salalah and Brother Steven Vineel Kumar from Salalah and several others. A warm welcome to you all and to all those that joined in this meeting.

There were 28 persons in the delegation and the tour was for 9 days. It was very profitable and enlightening to us. Those that we met there were very encouraged.

Without going into too many details I will highlight a few important matters.

1. The coordination of this trip was done by Pastor Samuel Jehu, the NCC Overseas Programs Director.

2. Two NCC International Conferences were held. One in Oman’s capital city of Muscat and another one in the historical city of Salalah. Both went very well with good presentation about NCC and also with good attendance beyond our expectations.

3. NCC Oman President Mr. Amar Viplow, The General Secretary Pastor Sheeba Jehu, Oman Treasurer Dr. Prapulla along with others like Bro. BabluBro AlbertPastor Jayaraj and several others made the Muscat trip very comfortable. The Oman President Bro Amar Viplow was full time on duty for any needs. He did a lot of hard work to make sure that everything goes smoothly. NCC is thankful to him and to all the leaders that welcomed and helped us in the name of the Lord.

4. In Muscat NCC Conference, the NCC Dubai President Pastor Suresh Babu Palaparthi gave the message that was very relevant and was much welcomed, encouraging all. He also is in touch with leaders to have a NCC International Conference in Dubai this year and the details will be shared soon.

5. In Salalah the Dhofar Province NCC Team did a good job led by the Dhofar Province President Bro. P. Jayaraj. He coordinated all the logistics there and meetings went off well. The Dhofar Province NCC team was announced, Bro. P. Jayaraj as the President, Bro. Steven Vinil Kumar as General Secretary, Rev. Hari Babu as the Treasurer, Bro Narendra as Secretary. Senior Pastor Moshe prayed and dedicated them after a good message by NCC AP State Regional Chairman Bishop Prasad Paul.

There are two articles about these two meetings in the NCC Website in the articles section. I wont repeat that matter here. If you didn’t see them so far kindly have a look at them by clicking the links below:

The tour part too went well to visit the Royal Palace, Museums, Many Mosques including the Grand Mosque and a Boat ride to see dolphins during which all the leaders relaxed in joyous fellowship and celebrating the vacation time away from the usual high demanding responsibilities. Several responsible leaders sang joyfully and danced to the tunes of Tu Hi tu, Tu Hi tu and such well known Christian songs.

In Salalah we visited the tomb of Job and prayed where he prayed facing towards Jerusalem. These experiences reconnected me to the Bible deeply and strengthened our faith very much. We also visited the tomb of the father of Mary, the mother of Jesus, besides this visits to several nice parks.

The journeys were long and tiring, sometimes the schedule was not fully clear with few details as new meetings were conducted suddenly, but overall the trip was very encouraging and brought much gladness to all, We thank God for the same. Please pray for all the future trips. Thank you all.
