Aims and Objectives:
Employees Wing exists to network and encourage the serving and retired government and private employees to excel in their job and to be productive in giving to the society their share of leadership and expertise.
Most of the Christian Employees have the strong Biblical teachings that they should be faithful in their work place and do a job that is pleasing their immediate bosses. The Bible says that our job should be done as unto the Lord. So the Employees Wing will concentrate on nurturing Biblical values into the lives of Employees and make them more effective in their work to be successful.
Many a time there will be issues like their Postings, Promotions, Transfers that could be done arbitrarily due to lack of information or intentionally by the some officers. Any grievance that exists this Wing will seek to represent to the respective ministry / department of the government or the to the top management in case of a private organisation.
The Employees Wing will plan special refresher courses or seminars in Leadership and Management skills that equip the Employees to be more fruitful in their service and achieve their desired personal and organisational goals. Fellowship and prayer for one another especially for those in any difficulties will be highly encouraged.
Various sections of the Employees will be networked into this wing at the National, State and District levels giving scope to all who are willing to join to be a part of this Wing in a position feasible to them. Give them opportunities to involve as resource persons in any of the NCC wings or in general leadership roles as per their call, skill, training and passion. Train and help the Employees to stand for biblical principles, values and to be witnesses of their blessings received from Jesus in their lives.
Conduct special programs to suit to their passion and time possibilities to give them scope to be used for the welfare of the larger society as and when possible. To give them opportunities to involve in supporting any event or program that they are burdened about. Utilize their knowledge and job experiences to inform and enlighten youth and prospective job seekers in structured form and also informally.
In an effort to build a better society free of discrimination or harassment to any one particular section, especially to the weaker sections, minorities and women, network the employees to be vigilant on the government policies. Be informed of particular Government Orders that specially have a negative impact on any sections of the society and to highlight the same to the necessary forums.
The employee’s wing to see that in private firm’s compliance to the welfare of the employees is fully maintained by granting mandatory facilities such as PF, Adequate number of leaves, where policies agree breaks and so on. To study any policies that needs to be addressed or modified for the welfare of the employees.
Major Activities of the Employees Wing:
- To identify all the Employees in central, state, semi-government and in private companies and firms that have a commitment to higher work ethics, performance and are service minded.
- To network as many as Employees into NCC and see that their expertise and availability is fully utilized.
- To encourage and train the employees to be effective witnesses of their faith and gospel of Jesus Christ in their work place through their diligent, committed service and also through witnessing when possible.
- The Employees should be given clear info of the available options to them so as to how they could give their time, skills, expertise, money, etc for the Christian community through NCC and for NCC too.
- Inform them and empower them to make their own efforts for Christian rights within their job / department / company and outside too.
- Plan and coordinate and organise Service activities for them, like: Health Camps or Hospital visitations, etc.
- Arrange Leadership, Management & Communications, Planning & Vision casting and other topics’ important seminars or conferences by coordinating to bring experts in those topics.
- Create a platform to the gifted men and women employees to be utilising their gifts and talents in the service of the Church (across all denominations) and in the service of the larger civil society.
- Plan charitable activities from time to time in coordination with other NCC Wings or other service organisations.
- To plan with NCC International Representatives any possible tours to other countries either for tourism purposes or for any specific seminars / conferences or such.
