
National Christian Council Hosts Annual Singing Competition in Jamshedpur
Jamshedpur, Jharkhand – December 6, 2025
The National Christian Council (NCC) successfully organized its annual Singing Competition in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, bringing together vibrant musical talent from across the city’s churches. The event showcased the spirit of unity, faith, and artistic excellence through both choir and individual performances.
Six choirs representing different churches in Jamshedpur and eight individual singers took part in the competition.
Mrs. Dilith Castleton, Head of Tata Steel was the Chief Guest. The Christmas message was delivered by Rtd. Professor, Dr. Rajeev Dayal.

2) Mr. Jessey Kalundia, Music Teacher, Missionaries School
3) Mrs. Geeta Neeta Tiga, Announcer, All India Radio Jamshedpur
Leadership & Organization: The event was led by NCC State President Mr. V. Somaya and State General Secretary Mr. N. S. Raju, along with dedicated office bearers including N. Suguna, M. Mohapatra, Paul Abraham, A. Sudhakar, A. Mary, Sunil Kasera, Roopa Kasera, Vijay Xavier, Angle Adari, John James, Magdalene James, Reena Singh, Rev. Salim Topono, Ajjar Paricha, and Sasmita Samuel.
Community Participation: Several key church pastors and leaders graced the occasion, underscoring the importance of music in fostering fellowship and spiritual growth within the Christian community. NCC announced that this Singing Competition will be organized annually, providing a platform for nurturing musical talent and strengthening bonds among churches in Jamshedpur.
