NCC Telangana State Core Committee Meeting

The National Christian Council (NCC), Telangana State, successfully conducted its State Core Committee Meeting on 10th January 2026, at Bereath Family Worship Center, Hyderabad. The meeting was chaired by Bishop Sanjay Anand, State President, NCC Telangana.
The meeting witnessed the presence of Wing Presidents www.nationalcouncil.in/ts-wings , Zone Presidents, District Presidents, Regional Chairmen, Core Committee Members, State Coordinators, State Patrons, and Office Staff, reflecting strong organisational unity and seriousness of purpose.
Vision for 2026: Strengthening NCC at the Grassroots
Addressing the gathering, Bishop Sanjay Anand outlined NCC Telangana’s vision and roadmap for 2026, with a special focus on strengthening all district units, activating the non-active districts, and ensuring uniform functioning across the state.
The Core Committee unanimously resolved to empower district committees through awareness and mobilisation meetings, ensuring NCC’s presence and effectiveness in every district of Telangana.
Key Resolutions Passed:
Several important resolutions were adopted during the meeting, including:
1. Launching social welfare initiatives such as Job Melas, Medical Camps, and Counselling &
Rehabilitation programs for addicted youth
2. Establishing an NCC-backed Counselling Centre in Secunderabad
3. Encouraging active political participation by capable Christian leaders
4. Conducting Business Workshops and Conferences to empower Christian entrepreneurs
5. Developing a standard district operational model for statewide implementation as outlined by the

6. Creating a Telangana State Corpus Fund for emergencies and critical needs
7. Strong Stand on Social Justice & SC Rights. The Core Committee strongly reaffirmed NCC’s
commitment to fight for Scheduled Caste (SC) rights, resolving to pursue legal action, rallies, and
dharnas to seek SC status for converted Christians. The leadership reiterated that NCC would take a
firm and united stand on issues of justice and constitutional rights as it was taking since inception over
several years.
8. Focus on Youth and Women Empowerment
9. Fixing a monthly membership fee of ₹100, with clear disciplinary measures for non-compliance
10. The meeting also approved plans to organise a Mega Youth Convention in the Secunderabad area,
aimed at mobilising and inspiring Christian youth.
11. Additionally, NCC Telangana resolved to host International Women’s Day celebrations at Uppal,
with participation of around 1000 people and a goal to enrol 100 new women members on the same
day.
12. NCC Telangana Sewa Ratna Award. In a moment of honour and appreciation, the Core Committee
resolved to confer the “NCC Telangana Sewa Ratna Award” on Rev. Mary, NCC Telangana State
Prayer Wing Working President along with a cash award of ₹10,000 to her team, recognising their
dedicated and prayerful service.

The meeting concluded with a strong call for unity, discipline, and commitment, urging all leaders to implement the resolutions in letter and spirit. Bishop Sanjay Anand emphasized that 2026 will be a year of consolidation, action, and visible impact for NCC Telangana.
The session ended with prayer and fellowship, followed by lunch.
