NCC Telangana Celebrates International Women’s Day 2026

The National Christian Council (NCC) organized the International Women’s Day Celebration at Uppal, Hyderabad today. The program began sharp at 10:00 AM with the Prayer Team led by Mrs. Mary in opening prayer, dedicating the entire program to God. Following the prayer, Mrs. Prasanna Bold NCC State Women’s Wing President took charge of the program and graciously anchored and led the event until the conclusion.
The Choir Team, led by Mrs. Esther and Mrs. Priya, presented a powerful worship song, creating a meaningful spiritual atmosphere for the gathering. Adv. Ch. Sudheer, Senior High Court Advocate and NCC Legal Wing Leader, delivered greetings and shared encouraging words with the audience.
Mrs. Vidya Sravanthi, an educationist, also conveyed her greetings and appreciated the work of NCC in Telangana. She expressed her willingness to extend future support and cooperation to NCC. Mrs. Prasanna Bold and her team performed an inspiring skit highlighting the importance of the Holy Spirit in our lives, which deeply moved many in the audience. Former Addl. DGP Dr. K. Babu Rao addressed the gathering and shared his greetings and encouraged all.
Mr. Deepak John, Chairman of the State Christian Minority Finance Corporation, Government of Telangana, spoke for about 10 minutes, explaining some of the upcoming welfare schemes for the Christian community, including:
§ Distribution of 3,000 sewing machines § Distribution of 1,000 battery bikes
Mrs. Sushma, a Beauty Pageant title holder and Mrs. Universe, greeted the gathering and encouraged the participants. Rev. Brighty Beulah, National Vice President of NCC, presented a PowerPoint presentation on the National Christian Council (NCC). She explained the vision, mission, structure, and functioning of NCC, highlighting how the organization carries out its activities and the importance given to women leaders across the spectrum. Her presentation helped the audience gain a clear understanding of NCC’s role in about 28 States of India and its impact in serving the Christian community.
The main sermon was delivered by Mrs. Gnanamani, who shared a powerful and dynamic message on the theme “Excellent Women.” Her message inspired and encouraged many women in attendance.
The Award Ceremony was hosted by Mrs. Rebecca and Mrs. Sunitha Paul. The NCC Ratna Award was conferred on Mrs. Mary for her two years of commitment and dedication in leading prayers. The Achievement Award was presented to Mrs. Preethi. The Runner-Up Award was given to Mrs. Hepsi Bhasker. Leadership Awards were presented to Mrs. Preethi and Mrs. Priya.
25 awards were presented to deserving women in recognition of their commitment, hard work, and dedication in their respective fields. A Press briefing was held in which many media representatives were present. It was addressed by State President Bishop Sanjay Anand and National Vice President Rev. Brighty Beulah among other leaders, and the event received wide media coverage. Those that attended the program include NCC State senior leaders State General Secretary Bishop Bakka Elia, Regional Chairman Rev. Dr. Gona Philip, State Vice President Bishop MS Dayanand State Youth Wing President Mr. Sunil, State Chief Patron Mr. Emmanuel Vijayaraj, State Governance Wing President Mr. Khasi Satish and other leaders. The program concluded with Prayer and Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Prasanna Bold.
Finally, about 1,100 participants were served a delicious lunch, marking the close of a meaningful and inspiring celebration with words of encouragement to build Women and women leadership.
